“It was an honor and privilege to participate as a coach in the 2016 Matteson League All-Star Game. Being able to coach some of the top talent in the south suburbs is always a pleasure. Of all the players who participated I am most proud of Vikings United player’s DJ (Darnell Jones II) and Josiah (Josiah Palmer) who were selected to represent their teams in the game. I’ve witnessed firsthand the hard work and dedication both players put in over the course of our season and they were definitely deserving of their All-Star game selection. – Excell Hardy
